Notes on the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
The Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) regulates the placing on the market, the return and environmentally sound disposal of electrical and electronic equipment. In connection with the sale of electrical and electronic equipment, we as the seller are obliged to inform you of the following:
Waste electrical equipment does not belong in the household waste. Disposal in the normal household waste is prohibited and violates the ElektroG. As the end user, you are legally obligated to return used electrical equipment. Used electrical equipment must be disposed of by returning it to the responsible manufacturer or importer via the collection points of the public waste disposal authorities (örE). For this purpose, you can use the free local collection and return points of your municipality. Used batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed in the old device must be separated from it before handing it in.
You can recognize old equipment as defined by the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act by the symbol of the crossed-out wheeled garbage can.
Furthermore, we would like to point out that you, as the end user of old equipment, are responsible for deleting any personal data on the old equipment to be disposed of.
